Personal Branding in Everyday Customer Interactions

A returned call, a conversation with a team member, and a follow‑up message all shape how customers experience a millwork business. Stefanie’s keynote connected those interactions with the reputation of the people behind the company.

The presentation explored how purpose, products, communication, and people contribute to a brand. Owners, leaders, and employees each bring expertise and relationships to the business. Making that expertise visible helps customers and colleagues understand who they are working with and what the company stands for.

For a millwork audience, personal branding connected directly to familiar responsibilities: explaining products, serving customers, and representing the business consistently. A professional profile and an everyday customer conversation should give people a clear picture of the same person and company.

Practical AI for Communication and Training

Stefanie connected AI and automation to tasks a team could recognize: responding after a missed call, summarizing meetings, drafting communication, and documenting a process.

These examples gave technology a specific role in customer responsiveness and internal follow‑through. A meeting summary can help a team keep track of decisions. A draft can provide a starting point for a customer message. A recorded explanation can become a reference for someone learning a task.

Process documentation also connected AI with training. Experienced employees hold knowledge that newer team members need. Video instructions and written guides offer ways to make that knowledge easier to find, share, and revisit.

The keynote encouraged a manageable starting point: learn the basics, experiment with a useful application, and gather feedback.

AI and LinkedIn Breakouts

The official convention program scheduled two additional breakouts with Stefanie. Their planned scope extended the keynote’s themes into focused education on AI and professional visibility.

AI Unleashed, October 8

The AI and automation session was designed to introduce the technology through familiar examples, then explore applications such as answering common questions, managing appointments, requesting reviews, and communicating with customers.

The prepared closing exercise asked participants to identify one task that could benefit from automation, giving the broad topic a practical starting point.

Branding & LinkedIn, October 9

The branding and LinkedIn workshop was designed around communicating expertise and developing a professional presence within the millwork industry. Topics included improving a LinkedIn profile, making useful content, and building industry connections.

The focus connected personal visibility with the experience and knowledge professionals already bring to their businesses, giving them ways to share that expertise more deliberately.
