Building Industry Growth Strategy That Makes You Impossible to Overlook.

You already have real expertise and real customers.
Stefanie Couch and the Grit Blueprint team find the one problem holding back growth, then build the strategy, sales, AI, and visibility systems to fix it, so the right buyers find you, choose you, and cannot easily replace you.

The Front Door

Some People See the Pink Hat. The Work Goes Much Deeper.

Some people first meet me on a stage, in a video, or through a post. They see visibility. They see media. They see the pink hat. That is the front door. Behind it is decades spent inside the business.

I grew up in a contractor lumberyard and sold lumber, windows, doors, and millwork. Then I led. I built and hired teams, ran locations and operations, set up equipment, opened door shops, and stood up new markets from the ground.

Inside a Fortune 500 building products manufacturer, I helped lead the team that scaled a door business from roughly $4 million to $200 million in ten years. Later, I helped launch and grow door operations in markets including Dallas and Houston.

I know marketing. I also know margin, inventory, production capacity, customer concentration, operations, training, sales, distribution, data, and the pressure of making the number. That is why I do not start with posts.

I do not start with posts. I start with the business.

What I Build

Your Growth Lives Between the Parts Most Companies Keep Separate.

Growth does not live in one department. It sits between the market, the customer, sales, operations, technology, people, and the story the company tells. That is why I work across the whole system, so you are not the one stitching it together.

Growth Strategy

Where the real opportunity sits, which customer matters most, what the company should be known for, and what must change before the old model stops working.

Visibility and Authority

A strong strategy still has to reach the market. Visibility gets you considered. The business behind it makes you hard to replace.

Sales and Customer Adoption

A login is not a habit. The strongest growth may already be sitting inside the users, customers, members, and dealers the company has today.

AI and Knowledge Systems

Most legacy companies already own valuable knowledge. It is trapped inside people, PDFs, and tribal memory. I turn it into tools people can use the moment they need them.

The Method

See. Solve. Systemize. Scale.

This is how I approach the work. One strong system can multiply through an entire network.

01

See

Find what others are missing. The market shift. The hidden risk. The unused asset. The customer friction. The opportunity sitting inside the business.

02

Solve

Choose the right commercial move. A new offer. A stronger position. A better channel. A partner model. A customer experience. A new growth engine.

03

Systemize

Turn the answer into something people can use. Technology, AI, training, sales tools, workflows, content, data, onboarding, and measurement.

04

Scale

Use the network the company already owns. Employees, customers, dealers, members, suppliers, partners, users, and locations.

Operator First

A Plan Is Not Finished Until People Use It.

I do not believe in strategy theater. I do not want to hand leadership a polished deck that sits in a folder while the business keeps doing what it has always done.

A strategy should change behavior.
It should move a number.

Big vision matters.
So does the first ninety days.

The number we move

More active usersMore quotesFaster trainingBetter conversionHigher share of walletStronger marginsMore qualified demandStronger brand recognitionStanding out from competitorsGreater market authority

The questions that force the work forward

01Who owns it?
02What happens first?
03What does success look like?
04What are we willing to invest?
05What could stop it?
06How will we know it worked?

Why
Grit Blueprint Exists

Built to Keep Great Companies Great.

One of the biggest things we do is help companies that have been great for a long time stay great far longer. The way you won the first 50 or 100 years is not the way you win the next. Most leaders know that. They just do not know what to do about it.

That is what Grit Blueprint is built for. Grit Guide is the distribution platform, one home of the building industry, where the people in it go for the information that keeps them winning.

The Difference

I Do Not Watch This Industry From the Outside.

I know how the pieces affect each other, because I have lived inside them.

I know what it feels like.

When01

the order is wrong.

When02

the truck is late.

When03

the customer will not pay.

When04

the software does not match the way the product is built.

When05

the sales team needs an answer now.

When06

production has capacity but demand is not there.

When07

a market opportunity looks exciting, but the operation is not ready.

When08

a corporate decision takes so long the opportunity disappears.

I also know what happens when the right people, the right offer, the right system, and the right story finally line up. The business moves. That is why I can sit with owners, operators, salespeople, technologists, and plant leaders and translate across the room.

Who I Work Best With

Built for Leaders Who Know Standing Still Is the Bigger Risk.

I do my best work with companies that already have something real. Real expertise. Real customers. Real operations. Real history. But something is getting in the way of the next stage.

Real potential.
One thing in the way.

01

A Legacy Company

The old growth model is slowing down, and leadership knows the business must evolve before it stops working.

02

A Manufacturer or Distributor

Deep capability, but the customer does not understand it or use enough of it.

03

A Co‑op, Buying Group, or Network

Employees, members, dealers, and locations already in place, needing a stronger reason to stay, buy, learn, and grow.

04

A Founder or Executive

Real, hard‑won insight that has not yet become the authority, influence, or platform it deserves.

05

A Company Entering the AI Shift

Leadership knows AI matters and needs a practical use case tied to sales, customer value, knowledge, or productivity.

What Changes

What It Looks Like When the Real Problem Gets Fixed.

Same company. Same people. A business that is finally easier to choose and harder to replace.

Before
  • Random activity nobody measures, and a website that does not move the number.
  • Sales explains the whole company from scratch on every call.
  • Knowledge lives in a few people’s heads and walks out the door.
  • Buyers and AI engines cannot find a clear answer about who you are.
  • Growth resets to a scramble every quarter.
After
  • A growth system leadership funds, sales uses, and customers feel.
  • Sales confirms a decision the buyer has already started making.
  • Your best thinking becomes a tool more people can use on demand.
  • People and AI find you, understand you, and recommend you.
  • Growth compounds on systems you own, quarter after quarter.

Easier to choose. Harder to replace. Ready for what comes next.

Clayton, Georgia. Singer, pianist, and door nerd off the clock.

The Person

The Pink Hat Gets Attention. The Truth Earns Trust.

I live in Clayton, Georgia, with my husband and co‑founder, Ben, and our golden retriever, Heidi Pearl. I am a classically trained singer and pianist, deeply competitive, and a self‑proclaimed door nerd who still calls out door styles riding through neighborhoods.

The pink hats are something I have always loved, and I started wearing them more once I built my own business and could show up to work as myself. The courage to try hard things came from my father. The building industry came from generations before me. The rest came from choosing to use all of it.

Bring the real problem. A Strategy Call is where we find it. No pitch theater.

Book a Strategy Call

Stefanie Couch is the founder and CEO of Grit Blueprint. She is a third‑generation building industry operator, growth strategist, speaker, and futurist. She helps legacy companies build stronger growth through strategy, sales enablement, practical AI, visibility, media, and channel development.

She grew up in her family’s contractor lumberyard and later worked across sales, operations, millwork, doors, two‑step distribution, and Fortune 500 manufacturing. She helped lead the team that scaled a door business from roughly $4 million to $200 million in ten years and helped launch door operations in several markets.

Both, but the work starts with the business. She uses visibility and marketing as parts of a larger growth system that may also include sales, AI, customer adoption, channel strategy, partnerships, technology, knowledge management, and operational execution.

Building materials manufacturers, distributors, co‑ops, buying groups, dealers, lumberyards, contractors, service providers, associations, executives, and other legacy businesses ready to grow and evolve.

Business growth, leadership, sales, practical AI, industry change, visibility, personal authority, customer adoption, legacy business models, and the future of the building industry.

Through Grit Blueprint strategy engagements, growth and authority partnerships, practical AI projects, workshops, executive advisory work, speaking, and custom enterprise programs.

No. She works across the entire building industry, not builders only. That includes manufacturers, distributors, dealers, lumberyards, co‑ops and buying groups, contractors, remodelers, architects, designers, reps, and the executives who lead them. If a company helps get buildings designed, supplied, sold, or built, it is in her world.

She starts with the business, not the campaign. Most agencies sell activity and most consultants leave a slide deck. Stefanie builds a growth system that leadership funds, sales actually uses, and customers feel. The work connects strategy, sales, practical AI, and visibility instead of treating each as a separate project.

AI tied to a real business outcome, not a science experiment. She focuses on uses that help a company sell faster, answer customers sooner, capture the knowledge living in people’s heads, and stay findable when buyers and AI engines go looking. If it does not move a number or save real time, it is not practical.

Because if they cannot find you, they cannot choose you. And if AI cannot understand you, it cannot recommend you. Buyers now ask search engines and AI tools before they ever call. Companies that are clear, structured, and visible get surfaced. Companies that are not fall off the shortlist.

Yes. She has spoken on more than 115 stages for leaders, sales teams, owners, associations, and industry audiences. Keynotes are high energy, direct, and grounded in real business, and they are built to move a room to act, not just to applaud.
